The Coming Decade project members at the kick-off meeting.

The first meeting of the project consortium was held at DWD Offenbach.

The kick-off meeting of the Coming Decade project was hosted by Deutscher Wetterdienst in Offenbach. After opening words by the BMBF project sponsor as well as the project lead Johanna Baehr, the current status of the work packages and different tasks were presented by the individual working groups. The first day was closed by a social dinner. It was an excellent opportunity for old and new project members to get to know each other. On the second day, project details were discussed in break-out groups. The next in-person meeting with the entire consortium is planned for spring 2025.
